Dreaming

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.”

                                                                        – Henry David Thoreau

Do you ever wonder what would happen if you just let loose and did exactly what you wanted, at the exact moment you wanted to? Throughout the past week I’ve had a hard time sleeping through the night; when I do make it through though, I keep having the same reoccuring dream: I’m living in what looks like Gibsons. My home is a basement suite that has a view of the ocean from my kitchen window. I own an orange bicycle with a basket on the front. I run a cafe & bakery on the main drag in town. I’m not sure if  my dream is a sign that I should just get with it and change the direction of my life already, or start writing a novel as a way of living it and fulfilling this urge. All I do know without a doubt in my mind is that I like it! No, I love it. Every single little thing about this dream makes me smile and I’d be in heaven if I could in some sense make it become my reality.

Thanks for taking time to read about my dream. Now sit in reverie and let yourself discover what you’re meant to do!

xoxo.
